Preparation

Before proceeding with this chapter and the following content, please ensure that the FIRERPA server on your mobile device has been started. We will subsequently introduce features provided by the FIRERPA service, including remote desktop access and API automation interfaces.

Port 65000 on the device is the standard public port for this service. You should remember this port number, as in most cases you won’t need to explicitly specify it (unless you have changed it, in which case you should reconfigure the default port accordingly).
Next, obtain the IP address of the current device from your WLAN settings. If you encounter any issues, review the “Installation Preparation” section again to confirm which IP address to use, as some devices may be behind NAT. Throughout the following tutorial documentation, we will assume the device’s IP address is 192.168.0.2.
